18 Hole Course
Plan ahead for your visit to Weston Park with our helpful tips from resident professional Michael Few PGA.
![]()
Hole 1
A short par 4 to start your round, a 3 wood or long iron positioned down the right side of the fairway will leave a medium to short iron into a well protected green.
![]()
Hole 2
A medium length par 3, well bunkered, that requires a well struck medium to long iron.
![]()
Hole 3
A strong par 4 dog leg left. A driver hugging the left side of the fairway or a drive over the trees on the corner of the dogleg for the longer hitters. The second shot plays up hill to a long narrow green with hidden bunkers on left and right of green.
![]()
Hole 4
Par 5 keep your drive down the right hand side of the fairway and the play a second shot down to the flat part of the fairway, which will leave you with a pitch uphill to a 2 tiered green.
![]()
Hole 5
A good par 3 with a green that slopes from front to back. normally plays one club more than the second hole.
![]()
Hole 6
A really good par 5, my favourite hole, your drive needs to miss the big tree on the right and avoid the trees on the left, the longer hitters can fly the tree on the right then should be in range to find the well protected green in two. The shorter hitters will need to lay up short of the cross bunkers and then pitch onto the green.

Hole 7
Dog leg left par 4 a straight drive will leave a straight forward second, but beware of a strong right to left slope if your second shot lands short of the green, a large bunker on the left of the green awaits!
![]()
Hole 8
A short par 4 with a sloping fairway from left to right aim your tee shot left and then pitch onto a well protected green.
![]()
Hole 9
A long par 4 keep your tee shot down the right of the fairway to give you a good angle into the green.
![]()
Hole 10
Driver or 3 wood centre right will leave a medium to short iron into a well protected green beware of the prevailing wind which blows from left to right!
![]()
Hole 11
Long straight par 3 which requires a well struck long iron or wood
![]()
Hole 12
Dog leg right par 4 position your tee shot down the left half of the fairway to leave a down hill medium to long iron to a generous green, make sure you don't over shoot the green as you will be left with a difficult pitch!
![]()
Hole 13
A good par 5 into the prevailing wind, keep your drive to the left and also your 2nd shot which will leave you a pitch to a green which slopes from left to right.
![]()
Hole 14
A straight drive needed to avoid the fairway bunker on the right, the second shot must be flown all the way to the green as the approach to the green slopes sharply from left to right.
![]()
Hole 15
A straight drive is needed to avoid bunkers on both left and right side of fairway, the second shot needs to be flown onto the front half of the green as the green is domed.
![]()
Hole 16
An uphill par 3 plays half a club longer than you think!
![]()
Hole 17
A long iron or fairway wood needed from the tee to reach the corner of the dog leg, a medium iron will be left to the green, make sure you avoid the deep right hand bunker
![]()
Hole 18
The home hole par 5 a generous fairway awaits your tee shot, your second shot needs to stay left half of fairway to leave a pitch to the green and hopefully a single putt to finish.
