An exciting opportunity has arisen at Weston Park Golf Club for a Sous Chef to assist and support the Head Chef in catering for Weddings, Conferences, Societies, and Functions and Bar food. The ideal candidate must be competent, conscientious and a consistent performer who is willing and capable to deputise, in all aspects of the kitchen, in the Chef’s absence and achieve the high standards expected.
Ideally they will hold a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate and NVQ Level 1 & 2 in Catering, although this is not essential. This position may suit an established Chef or a Chef de partie looking for their next step up in their career.
This position would be for a fixed term contract to cover the kitchen through its busy period during the year. The hours would be variable depending on the needs of the business with a minimum 24 hours per week. The successful candidate would also be required to cover holidays and lieu time. The hourly rate for this position will be dependent on experience.

Working to a high standard under the direction of the Course and Deputy Course Manager, the successful candidate will join the dedicated team responsible for maintaining and enhancing one of East Anglia’s finest Golf Clubs.
You will be assisting the team with day to day maintenance of the Golf Course along with renovation projects and woodland management. This full time position would suit an enthusiastic and flexible individual.
Relevant qualifications are desirable but not essential – however, the successful candidate must have a solid background in Greenkeeping and possess the skills necessary for supervising junior members of the team.
Hours required for this position will be 40 hours Monday to Friday, along with additional hours at the weekend, on a rotation system between the team.
